I got this pattern from cherrytreetoys.com and was sort of lost when I started building it. I have never used any sort of plans before. I have always just started building from my brain. I have sold 5 of these after I built my first one. Some modifications were made to the plans to make it more durable and safer for people that really like to get a swing going.

I got the glider brackets from leevalley.com. They were 1/2 the price of Rockler and in my opinion better brackets. Free shipping too!! The bolts I buy by the pound at my local farm store. The plans call for carriage bolts but they strip out in the wood too easy so I just use regular bolts with flat washers. If you decide to build these I can give you a couple pointers and modifications I made to make them better.
