I just completed this off-centered, off-axis woodturning. It is 11” in diameter and is carved with the Japanese icon/word “Happiness” in the center. Finished with anilines dyes and lacquer.

the eccentric center reminds me of Doug Fishers N.W. native designs ..very cool.. & of course, intriguing.

Yep! you pegged it! fascinated with Doug’s work, off center, off axis, turning stuff in the air that looks like a ghost is challenging.
