A friend of ours has a family bible that’s written in Dutch and dates to 1897. She asked me to make a display box that would suit the old bible and allow her to display it. I used Balau for the body, Bubinga for the base and corner inlay and Zebrawood for the feet. Hopefully it compliments this historic publication.

Novel idea. I like it a lot.
