This coffee table was built on commission for a local resident.

For me, building pieces to endure for generations is the number one goal. Designing the curvaceous aprons on this coffee table was a delight.

During the design phase, when it is appropriate, I try to borrow from the past while creating a new look and feel that will be appreciated in the future. At times, this can feel impossible, especially as the wastepaper basket begins to overflow with discarded iterations of what you hope will look like a simple curve.

Ultimately, I chose the option I felt worked best with the wood. The stunning beauty it holds was once a part of nature’s bounty and I was determined to take full advantage of that. This piece will be appreciated and honored for many years to come.

Very nice design. Good lines. I really like the sway in the legs a sit sets it apart from others I have seen. Great Job, Thanks for posting
