Corner Table

With some help from my friends I built this corner table for the wife. I used red wood burl for the top and figured maple for table with maple legs. Size is 20×20x30 with 6 coats of high gloss tung oil.

A corroborative woodworking project: Thanks to my mentor Bruce Friederich for the red wood burl top and helping with turning the legs. Also Ron Coney for his help with legs and advice.

Lovely top, but why did you decide to put the backer board on or make such a thick apron? It might just be the pictures, but something feels off….
