I made a high Chair for my daughter a couple of years back with some scrape wood that was laying about the shop. I kept saying that I was going to do a nicer one that was stained and put together a little better. Well here it is…. and yes that is one of the original cabbage patch dolls.. Thanks for looking. This realy looks like it is all set for a high mileage & built to do the business for a couple of generations at least.
I think it’s great to see practical pieces where kids are the “users”
Well done Chef D :))

Don’t let my American Girl Doll obsessed daughter see this one. I’m getting a little worn out on doll furniture. Great design and execution. Help me out on the vine/pedal details. It appears to be burned. I can’t tell if it’s carved as well. Looks great, interested in how you kept it uniform. Template or patience?

Thanks for the comments.. USCJeff the vine trim work is some trim that I bought at home depot and stained over it. It just seems to go with the chair.
