Thought I would try my hand at some boxes, all made of recycled pallet wood and flooring scraps. First one I made, I gave to my wife, she really liked the gnarly top, resawn oak I think, and sides look like jarrah. Took a piece to Wood World to see what it looked like, it seemed like it matched that the best, smelled like jungle animals when I cut into it, very nice color though. Second one is purple heart and maple flooring scraps, gave it to a friend and engraved the top for his b-day. Will have to make allot more of these, lots of scraps left, fun to do.

WOW, those are both very Sweeeet Boxes, great choice of wood, that brown one is captivating and You displayed Natures Beauty in a most elagant way, the maple one has a neat design, both demonstrat some finely tuned skill sets and an artistic flair, Thanks for sharing Mic

Thanks guys, Chuck, I picked this stuff up from flooring stores, I think it must be flooring shipped from other countries and they use some of it for pallets, try lumber liquidators, thats were I got this stuff from.
