Whilst taking a picture of the Cookbook Holder for posting on LJs, I also snapped some of the bandsaw boxes I have been making in odd moments, so have posted these as well ( a couple may have appeared before).

Once again, Steve Marin’s design ( http://lumberjocks.com/Stevinmarin/blog/15980 ) provided me with a starting point.

Nice range of color, shapes and sizes – and nice finish on them too. Now you just have to decide what to do with them!

Very nice collection of boxes Don, good color choices and a super finish. Looks like you have got hooked. :-)
They will make super Christmas gifts. Very well done.

In response to the above, we live in a small village called Chedzoy, and each year my wife Avril organises a Christmas Gift Fair for Chedzoy Ladies, so more of these – plus some other items such as Cookbook Holders (?) – will be on sale there.

I might even take my Library Chair / Steps ( http://lumberjocks.com/projects/47287 ) to try to flog that. It very nearly sold at our Rotary Art/Craft Fair, but the potential owner just couldn’t quite bite the bullet!

Thanks for the kind comments.

Napoleon - for a blog I would have to take pictures during the process of making another box, as I didn’t do so when creating the ones shown above. The problem with this is my impatience – I am always rushing to see the job finished. Why I’m like this I don’t know, I’m retired so I have plenty of time, but I still tend to go like at bat out of hell instead of taking my time – and probably doing a better job. So the idea of taking pics never occurs to me until the job is done!

Anyway, the design from Steve Marin came from his blog http://lumberjocks.com/Stevinmarin/blog/15980 which is a far better production than I could ever do, so I suggest you take a look at that – I followed his method pretty closely.
