this is my first real attempt at making a tray. it is turned from white ash. the finish is butcher block conditioner. diameter is about 12 inches. raised area is 6 1/2 in diameter. hopefully they will sell at the show!!

murch- ash can be fun. beautiful grain patterns. had one piece that was the devil himself to sand across the grain. thanks for the comment
