We recently moved into our house and upstairs is a loft that my wife took over for her scrapbooking and crafts.
Before it was a simple tall cabinet and a table which worked but not well. The table was a little high, the cabinet was badly placed. After brainstorming some ideas, I decided to build a built-in large desk with a laminate top, custom cabinets for her items and a shelving unit.
She seems pretty happy about it.
