This is the last thing I built before I started to reorganize my shop. I have learned a few things over the last 2-1/2 years since I started. I continue to learn something new each time. Measure twice, cut once….measure again and cut to fit….haha. Again my wife helped with the design. Comments welcome…good or bad… or helpful.

It’s beautiful. What finish did you use?

Nice curio cabinet. Did you glass the sides as well? There’s room for three pics…don’t be shy!

Very nice. If you have a collection of doll’s, you have a lot of work to do.

That is a really nice display cabinet.

Thanks for the post.

Nice cabinet. Sure, I’d prefer it with something more manly like guns or football trophies, but the doll works too I guess ;)

Thanks for the compliments. The finish is stain then poly rubbed out with 0000 steel wool. It makes the poly shine up nice, but not too plastic looking. The middle shelf is a fixed wooden shelf. The reason I did that is too be able to put a light for the bottom too. There are shelf pin holes drilled to add an adjustable shelf in the top and bottom both. My wife wanted it that way, but the glass shelves have never been put in, probably never will. The dolls are all my wife’s. I collect tools…haha.
