This was my very first project in woodshop. When I first received it, it had 16 coats of white veneer on it and was in pretty bad shape. When I was younger both me and my father tried to refinish it but neither of us had the knowledge or skill.
So when I got into woodshop this was one of the first projects on my list to complete after 16 hours of painfully sanding it with a belt sander then another 3-4 removing whatever paint was left inside of the small cracks It was finally ready to be finished after 6 coats of polyurethane it looked like it was worth a million bucks. I only have this one picture right now and for some reason it has a orange tint to it but the piece itself is a lot darker and redder.
