This was the last project I did before the school year ended last term. I bought the katana at a convention in Toronto then realized I had no where to put it so I went to school hoping to create a display case to hang on my wall. The overall project took two-three weeks to complete with some problems that came up like the mounts where supposed to be red but the latex paint wouldn’t dry so I decided to use a Red Mahogany stain that I had left over from a previous project. The white inside of the box is actually some fabric that I came across for pretty cheap.

This was my first fabric job and my first display case thanks for reading :)

Looks like a nice choice on the fabric. A uniform background keeps your eye on the katana.
