Walnut Desk

I had a client ask if I could make her desk similar to one I had already created (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/19662). She wanted it to be a bit larger and made all out of the ‘dark wood’ (walnut). Here is the desk that came out of that effort. It is made of Walnut with maple for the drawer sides and bottom. No ply used. I used the opportunity to improve my original design. This one is 25” deep, 52’ wide and if I remember correctly is about 41” tall.

Very Elegant.
Not to slag the first one, but much cleaner and better color IMHO.

Very nice. I like the use of the arcs/arches in the design. The walnut was a good choice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice design. I really like the joinery and how it flows throughout the piece. Nice work.
