Good work, I remember doing NVQ level 2 when they first came out.
They seem to be harder judging from your piece, I remember everyone in the class being marked down because we had left all the pencil marks on our pieces to show the accuracy of the measurements and how we had marked them out, the examiner didn’t like them.

darren you should be proud of the work you have done…
the synoptic test that the students do to show their compantancy has increased in difficulty alot over the years…the level one test is actually hard enough for a level 2 course…its very structured and timed…and we have to be harsh in the marking….if they fail the whole year is failed…and im sorry if that sounds harsh but they are given two attempts and the whole year of teaching is geared towards the test…all projects leading up to the exam train a small section to help…from drawing full size rods to doing scribing on molded timber….so if they fail….its is their own fault…but to all the lumber jocks that view this project above and have not fallen asleep from reading this paragraph you are looking at a worthy student that has pushed him self in all areas of his training and shows a passion shared by only a few for his love of the trade and the skills he as developed and to finish this…he was a pleasure to teach and best of all i can call him a dear friend..
