simple bowl out of spalted beech

hi fellow LJ just a simple bowl out of spalted beech was looking through some old blanks i had stashed away and thought it was time to make something out of them so this was what i came up with it has some nice patterns on it,
it is 9 inch by 4 1/2 finished with 5 coats of tung oil and buffed all comments welcome

I LOVE that grain pattern. It reminds me of looking at map/globe. Very nice!

Beautiful piece of wood there. You’ve done a fine job of letting it out of its’ hiding place. Isn’t it exiting seeing what God has put in there for us to find! Now, go find some more and show them to us.

hi friends thanks for all the nice comments it is always nice to get feed back IT evens looks much nicer in reality the wood i mean i made a few more not as nice a patron in them i will post them later
