I made these for my brother and sister in-law.
They are really good guys, and I especially like that everything
I have given them is on display or in use and not just put in a cubbard

  • You know the feeling
Made with Maple, Sapele, Purple Heart, and Walnut.

Finished with Minwax Semigloss Fast-Drying Polyurethane
I sanded inbetween each coat, but it took me 5 or 6 coats
to get it as smooth as I wanted.

Very decorative box. Did you put anything on the bottom of the coasters?

If anybody gave that to me, I’d also have it on display. It’s fabulous.

I have to say that this is one of the most practical projects I’ve seen in a while. I can never find a coaster when I need one, and this is the perfect solution. I really like what you’ve done here. I hope you don’t mind if I save this idea for future gifts. Thanks for sharing.
