Pine toybox seat

After building the table top I was asked by the same customer to build this toybox for her son. It is made from pine and uses dovetails for the joints. The name was cut in freehand with the router. The lid has soft close stays to avoid any accidents. The base was made from 1/2” ply and set on bearers in the bottom.
