this was a gift for my half brother and his wife that lives in oregon i dont see him that often ever 3-4 yrs. board is p.h. maple and afican mahogany finised with general finish salad bowl finish (12×17 x 1 1/4 ) coasters are p.h. & walnit with 3 coats wipe on gloss clear coat ( 4×4 x 3/4 )

I like the combo CB and matching coasters. Thr Purpleheart color stands out nicely. What did you use to cut the hole in the coaster?

thanks and i have circle template from rockler used it to make a thicker template then used a 1/2” dia hinge template bit
