This project started with an inquiry from a friend asking if I thought he had enough wood to make a little stand for some electronics components for his TV. 30 minutes later I had this stand drawn up and had taken over the project… The wood is Northern White Cedar, left over from an outside project. The pictures don’t show it, but the sides of the base are 1 1/2” wider at the bottom than the top and the shelves narrow as they go up. Finish is BLO and wipe on poly.

Cool, I really like this stand. I may use this design in my living room.

nice! i like the shelf joinery – are those shelves notched and then fit into dados in the sides?
