This piece is one that I wished I still owned. It’s very simple, but has an ethereal feeling to me. The angels are carved from mahogany and the “earth” is a piece of stained glass.

Great imagination and carving, Cathy. I agree with Grizz, do make another one for yourself.

It’s very unusual and nicely designed. I like it also.

I love the understated elegence, and that the angels are unique. The blue earth and warm mahogany tone compliment each other. Is this your design ? I like it very much !

It is my design. I first carved my angels and when I saw them together they had such as comforting presence. The thought of them looking down on the Earth came into my head. So I found a piece of stained glass to represent the Earth and tried to tie it all together. I’m glad it speaks to you. For me, it is one of the most rewarding pieces that I ever made.
