All cut from 1/2” poplar. These are just fun to cut. Gluing them together can be a bit tedious though.

I take it you stained some of the wood different colors. Is it made like Intarsia? Either way, it looks very nice!!

The portraits are cut from one piece of wood, stained and reassembled in a 3D effect.
