I just finished my first piece of furniture! I made this towel shelf to be placed in our master bathroom where it will sit nicely between the tub and shower and will pretty much hold our daughter’s towels, shampoo, toys, etc. when giving her a bath. This shelf is made out of mahogany that has been glued together with dowels and pocket screws (first time using both!) and then finished with three coats of General Finishes Semi-Gloss PolyAcrylic with #0000 steel wool being used in between coats. The height is 48 inches tall with each shelf being approximately 14×11 x 1. We have somewhat of a mission style theme in our house which is why I chose this type of design.

Thanks! I was trying to do something not too crazy or complicated for my first big sized project.
