This was a custom pen I made. The wood is curly Walnut from a tree originally harvested by Remington Rifle Co. and was paired with a black enamel slimline twist. If you saw my Blackwood slim pen, this Walnut one is the pen that originally used this design. I like the idea of beefing up the slimlines a bit and am going to continue tweaking this design.
I was a bit worried about catching a curl the wrong way with my chisel and blowing it out, but in the end it really worked well with no troubles.
I learned on this pen that flat black hardware is SOOO much easier to take pictures of- no problem with glare like so many of my pen pics. Thanks for looking.

I thought it was Bubinga at first …looks like a comfortable design : )
-- When did quiet and quite become the same word ? I'm guessing about the same time as your and you're did.
