Sorry haven’t been around in awhile. Bought a small fishing boat and been working on that anyhow (different website)lol.
Here is a project I recently finished haven’t painted it yet. It will receive a dark stain undercoat, then barn red overlay and sanded through weathered look. It will match a Americana theme dinning room.
If you’ve read my bio then you know I try and get my hands on all the free lumber I can get. 1 it keeps out of landfills 2 its free… Picture 5 is what the hutch started life as. Pallets for body-shop equipment. Walking distance from house. Picture 6 is a sneak peek of 2 pantries I’m building for the kitchen. Enjoy and thanks for browsing..

I can’t believe it’s pallet wood. How wonderful. It fits the rustic nature of your hutch design. Great recycle!

There is a pallet place about two miles down the road! People pick through the curbside stuff for firewood. I’ll have the wife’s truck as my van is waiting on some radiator hoses. I’ll stock up and put the wood in the corner of the storage building.

Love it!

I keep seeing these “recycled pallet” projects.

Until seeing this “started life” pic of yours I really always thought “nah… they must mean something different. There’s no way that came from the kind of pallets I’m thinking of.”

Excellent work!

What are the dimensions for the small country hutch?

Have your say...
