Project Information

This is a picture I had done awhile back. When the pattern came out it was made as a picture. I did a littlle different end result. I cut it out of 1/4" baltic birch, then my husband framed it with 3/4" x 1/4" Walnut on 3 sides. The base is 5"x24"x 5/8" Walnut. Picture over all dimensions are 22 1/2" x 12 3/4". As you can see in the picture most of the base in behind the picture so that candles can sit in predrilled holes and the light can shine through the cuts of the picture. It makes a great mantle piece. The finish is clear varnish.

Okay I took a picture of the Last Supper in the dark, so you could see what the candle look like shinning through. I hope you can see it. I also inserted a picture of the Last Supper. It is matted with black mat and the frame is painted with crackle paint. Really makes the frame look as old as the picture.

Another amazing scroll, wish I could see it with the candles going behind it.

I'll try to take a picture of the candles burning and see if it shows through in a picture.
