Last week I bought a Legacy Ornamental Mill (1500) This was my first attempt at the hollow spiral. I had a 1500 a long time ago but I only did rope turnings. This was a first for me. Left to right. Hollow spiral, Barley twist, Shallow rope, Deep rope, Readed.

They look really great! Did you do the ‘open’ center with the Legacy or did you bore it with a lathe? Did you mean a 1200?

I did it on the Legacy and no, not the 1200, the 1500 model.

van they are, 1 3/4” x 1 3/4” x 16” These were just test cuts.
