This is my first attempt at turning some rings on my lathe the first is cocobolo and maple and the second is cocobolo and same with the third there not perfect but im pretty happy with the result, as always thanks for looking and all comments are welcomed.

The two are sitting on a Bamboo and Cocobolo lid I did for one of my previous Cocobolo bowls

Just finished with a coat of wax
I turned 3/4 of the ring cut it free then used a scrap piece to turn a tenon to complete the opposite side sanded to 600

They look great.
I’ve made a few and the Cocobolo and maple really come out nice. The cotrasting woods work well together.

The lid is really nice aswell.
