This is my second mozaiekbox. This time I used different kinds of wood : maple, pau amarello, wenge, padoek, purperhart . The grip on top is maple out of maple and 2 pieces of stainless steel.

Finished with DanishOil.

These are full boxes to make and you can really go wild with the design!!!

I’ll try this one again with crosses and one with puzzle pieces

Thanks for watching

Another great looking box Rick!

Love the lower design in the different woods.

Your box really looks great! The photos do not do it justice. I almost did not notice that the sides were pieced together as the top is because of the lighting. I thought they were solid pieces until I saw the third photo. Looks like alot of work…

Great box, Rick. I like the different wood combinations. You’ve got a good theme gong here. I look forward to the next one.

PS Could I suggest a little ‘fill in’ flash on the pics to heighten the darker colour woods.

I like it too especially the use of framing for corners. It adds emphasis to the crazy cut mosaic. The combination of stainless steel grip makes it more stronger and heavy duty. Keep it going.
