Built this small table we use as a nightstand. It’s oak with a walnut border around the top. Construction consists of 24 mortise and tenon joints.

I’m curious, how did you fix the middle and bottom shelves in place?

Thanks for the comments guys.
SouthHollow, I have some small cleats glued and tacked to the inside of the frames then the shelves are glued to the cleats. Cutting some slots in the frames would have made for a difficult glue-up.
