Thanks to Steve and Ryoung for the plans! As penance for begging said plans I agreed to post after I was finished so, here it is, the fishing reel toilet paper holder.

After I finished this project I set it on the counter for my wife to marvel at upon coming home from work. She walked in, took a look at it and said, “Where did you buy that, couldn’t you have made it?” !!!!!!! I love that woman :-)

One of my friends will say to me when he looks at a project, “That looks store bought!” And he means it as a complement, as opposed to something that looks amateurish. Maybe that was your wifes way of saying she’s impressed!

I would love to make one of those someday.

What a great job.

Would really like a copy of the plan or point me where I could get it.

What’s with all that mechanism? Does it dispense one sheet at a time? ;)
