Howdy folks,
I make Native Flutes, and do not use a lathe to make them round.
Instead….I use this Spokeshave Mule that I constructed.
Using a draw knife (or a spokeshave) you can preety much make square stock round, and it gives it a handmade look as oppose to a factory made commercial look.
If you want to see the CherryCows Spokeshave Mule in action, see this YouTube video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df1pmKA9VY4
If you want a set of DETAILED drawings on how to make your own CherryCows Spokeshave Mule, see my website:
http://www.cherrycows.com/SpokeShaveMule.html
You will actually have two projects:
(1) making your own Spokeshave Mule
(2) using it to do other projects
Enjoy!
