table saw sled

This is my table saw sled I finished today I’ve been meaning to make one of these or a long time but never got the chance this thing is a dream ! followed the wood whisperers video for the most part and i thank you if your looking. The runners are made of brazillian redwood from the floor scraps of my house man can that tuff tear up some blades. The hardwood supports are made of some sort of mahogany believed to be genuine from a 50 foot boat some lady wanted out of her yard I helped with that well at least the removal of the mahogany. And last but not least the don’t cut your fingers off guard closest to the operator is made of a red oak newel post that needed cutting down to size for installation in the house . Gotta love scraps and salvage thanks for looking ! by the way the holes you see in the mahogany those were from the brass screws i pulled out of the whole lot of it.
