Yet another of my students work. They built this for the Clinton, OK Veterans Center to hold all of thier karaoke epuiptment and make it where they could move in around easier. They really get into projects we donate to the community. It is made from MDF and sprayed with tinted lacquer. Each branch of the armed force’s logos are carved into it, and the POW/MIA symbol is in it. I try and get them to give something back every chance I get. They also spend alot of time doing work for Habitat for Humanity.

You have a neat job and do well with it. What a way to earn a living – having the ability to teach others to do what we love to do. Good for you.

Great job. I’m sure the Vets at the center really appreciate it!

the unit is gorgeous.
the story behind it – very powerful!!!
There was just a story on the news last night about crime: and (surprise surprise) a study showed that the way to get rid of crime/violence problems is PREVENTION and not incarceration. So… we need to clone you and put you to work in all the cities :)

My Len is a Nam vet and is a retired teacher. He is a member of the VFW burial squad now that he is retired. I showed him this cabinet. He was very touched. Thanks for sharing. :)
