Couple of bookends I made for a neighbour.
American Red Oak, oil finish.
Copper bat shaped plate underneathto rest the books on to stop them falling over.
9ct Gold was filed to give me small pieces which were put into the open grain of the Tiger’s muzzle prior to oiling.
When the light catches these pieces you see a nice Gold sparkle, cannot realy see it in the picture, I am pretty hopeless with a camera.

That’s a great cutting, those are great patterns, I also like the bookend idea.

Looks good. I have the same wolf hanging in my living room. I think I have the tiger pattern also.
