This is a friends dog that recently passed so I made a portrait for her. First pic is the final project, second pic is the pattern I made that I used to cut it out and the original picture is what I used to make the pattern. It’s cut in 1/8” Baltic Birch play with a 1/8” BB backer that I painted black.

OUTSTANDING!!! I am not just saying that, I do scroll saw portraits and I think I know good when I see it. What program did you use to develop the pattern? We also have a Yorky. Check out my portrait of my wifes dog “Corky” under scroll saw portraits posted in my projects.

Hey John, Kelly, Vicky and Paddy, Thanks for the kind words, it means more coming from talented people like yourselves!
I design the patterns in Gimp, and then all the text in Inkscape. I like the way text is dealt with in Inkscape better than I do in Gimp.
John you did a great job on “Corky”, and the THdesign sign is simply beautiful.
