Had this slab laying around for a couple of years, finally had a chance to do something with it. I think i found my new favourite thing to do. Finished with 3 coats of tung oil

-- I have so many projects on the go, guess I'm not a "finish" carpenter!

What is “Bull pine” I’ve never heard of it. Is it a version of yellow pine?

i guess its a version of yellow pine, its actually called ponderosa pine. unfortunately it fell victim to the pine beetle as well. lost a lot of big beautiful trees in our valley
