Haven’t posted in a long time. Here are some samples of boxes I have been making for an art show in a week or so. They vary in size from 8×4 x 1.5 to 2×2. 1.5. Lids are gradually built up from smaller components. Sometimes sawing curves on bandsaw and gluing in veneer curves or dowel plugs for interest and contrast.

Forgot to mention the “wood paintings” one sample of which is in the first photo. Abstract designs to be hung and or displayed on an easel. Totally non functional, but a lot of fun.

All are nice but I’m partial to the top one in the first pic(“wood painting”, I gather). Hope the show goes well.

I am a sucker for boxes. You did a great job. I really like the picture frame and background.

Very nice boxes that I am sure will be a hit at the show .
Kevin you have created some wonderful pieces here and I can’t decide which I like the most, they are all very well designed and the woods and design details are beautiful.
I wish you success at the show !!!!!!

Kevin, all of these are very nice and I think that you will do quite well.
