Made this project thinking it would be a good gift for my girlfriend’s niece’s second birthday. Little did I know that a family member also showed up with a plastic picnic table. Although I feel bad that two tables were brought to the party, this table appeared to be the more popular one of the two. The second table was put in the play room for coloring, drawing, etc.

I also made one for the birthday girl’s cousin (her sister’s child). Fair and equal treatment right?

This is great. This will be around a lot longer than the plastic one she was given. My girls are a little older so I am thinking of making one a little bigger than this, but not as big as an adult size. Seeing this made me think about getting a start on mine.

Great gift Tim.
It´s not your fault. Wood and handmade are winners.

Handmade wins every time ;-) Nice work. I think this is the first pint sized picnic table I have seen. They have everything else, why not that too?

You weren’t messing around. That is a nice picnic table.

I hope you like your girl friend because if you keep making her look good in front of the family she’s not going to let you go anywhere.
