I made this little shift knob a while back in June. It’s made of aromatic cedar. I have re-turned it and will upload some pictures soon.

The color really jumps out with the black of the interior. A nice personal touch to your car.

NIce. How do the treads hold in cedar? Did you have to put in a metal insert?......Jim

@Jim I went to autozone and got a nut that fits the thread on the stick. Then I just drilled a 5/8” hole and epoxied in the nut. The knob screws on and off just like the stock one.
