Ah, I’ve seen these. Well done! I ought to make one….

Mark, nope, the nail is not cut. In the one I saw, the nail was in an oversized hole so you could rattle it back and forth and see it was solid.

I love this puzzle.
I made one as well, using a big 4” nail that can rattle back and forth.
I brought it into work and no one could figure out how it was done.
Even when I told them how, they didn’t believe it.
Well done.

Middle two pieces were cut out and glued back in, the striations on the block help hide that?
