This is a pedestal / candle table with removable top that i turned and built for my aunt for christmas. made with construction grade 2×4 and 1×4 from lowe’s.. stained red mahogony with gloss poly on top.

Very nice project. The more turnings I see the more I wish I had a lathe. I really like the pedestal. The feet really add a nice detail as well.

I’ve had my eye one building a table like this since I saw one in fine woodworking, it looks like a fun project.Great job!
