Finally have my own torque wrench now and I decided to make a box for it. I had the idea for the box as I was walking back from the mailbox with the USPS Priority mailing tube the wrench was in. I thought the wrench would need some type of a box to keep it in great condition and keep other tools from banging it up. The initial idea was to just paint the box black, thus the reason for not that great of a final finish. Still need to add some type of a latch to lock the box but I’m happy with the way it turned out. It’s not the best project I’ve ever made, but it will serve its purpose just fine for holding the vintage Craftsman torque wrench.

Looks 100 times better than the plastic box my torque wrench is in. Should be easy to find when you need it also. Looks like a great old wrench, they don’t make them like that anymore.

-- You will never build it unless you try. The second one always turns out better.
