My “assistant” and I built this piece this week for the Clouston family. It’s on wheels and has soft closing stainless hinges. We carefully selected the birch to get the colour pattern that we wanted. We figure it looks good for #1 com birch. The carving is a birch branch, some buds and leaves.

Beautiful soft glow….especially in the 3rd picture. The finish looks silky smooth. Well done.
