Mosaic Table

This Mosaic table was built for my wife’s classroom. She did the mosaic and I made the table. The table is made out of red oak and glass tile. I alway felt that I did not get the proportions correct, the table just feels too blocky to me, but she likes it.

It does look like a very sturdy table , but I think it is mostly due to the thickness of the top.
I like your wood selection and building skills : )

The wood choice with the red tile looks really good. I think they compliment each other well. The table apron may be a little wide but in all actuality it appears to be what would be acceptable in relation to other parts. Nice build!
