this is the first of many update i will hopfully be posting…our new work shop at the college where we teach canrpentry and joinery..
we have been given a blank canvass to paint….and this is my first brush stroke…this has taken a couple of weeks to make and finish all the tweeking….hopefully by the time this has been posted the order i have made should have been delivered and fill to bursting….but alas this filled will only last about 2 weeks if we are lucky..
the main bulk of thimber shown is 225×75mm (9×3) with a length off 5 mts

Is it completely freestanding or is it attached to the wall?

thank you..
with the weight this will be taking it is fixed to the floor and wall for shear safety reasons….hopefull we are getting
50 mts of 9×3
60 mts of 9×2
70 mts of 9×11\2
and just short of a 1000 mts of studding timber ( 3×2 and C.L.S)

Dang, you have it good. My shop isn’t as big as your lumbe rack. Enjoy. I’m off to watch “Doc Martin”.

this is the updated rack picture. this is what £2500 looks like….shame it will only last about 3 weeks….
