LJ’s ,

This project has been in the shop for a couple of weeks. It was ready to receive some finish but somehow it was put aside. While finishing the MozaiekBox I also applied the some finish on this one

Woods :maple and rosewood
Finish : 1 layer walnut oil, 3 layers of danish oil

The dovetails are cut by hand.

Thanks for watching

nice.
was the box glued up as a whole and then the lid cut off? or was the lid glued separately from the box?

I really like the clean lines, tight joints, and patterned lid.

Nice looking box!
How did you construct the top and bottom to the sides?
I mean, when you cut a dado/groove, it wil show up against the corner-joints.

Keep on posting your work. I like it!

It’s a nice box and the dovetails look great.
