I made this small table/chest a couple of years ago...

I found this wood at the local Home Depot. They claim it came from Australia. I don’t remember exactly what the name of this particular species of wood is, but I really liked the grain. The feet, I turned on a friends lathe. It has 3 coats of polyurethane on it. We, the wife and I, can’t recall the color of the stain, but it was close to the futon that we had purchased. After reading what I just posted, there seems to be alot I don’t remember…LOL

I like this piece. It has nice lines to it and you added just enough detail to make it interesting.

Great table Vjer. It looks more like what we call Oregon (Douglas Fir) which comes from your neck of the woods.
