While I was making the Cheez-it’s display case, I realized I needed a marking knife for laying out the dovetails. I turned this out of a scrap of padauk and an extra brass plumbing ferrule. The blade is a piece of old hacksaw blade with a double bevel sharpened on it.

Quite handsome. I’ve never seen a shop made tool introduced “while I was making a Cheez-it’s display case”...huge lol. Nice knife.

Very nice knife Tim. I have been meaning to make on myself. I have a deep appreciation for a hand made tool. I really like the profile on the butt end of the handle. Hope to see more tools that you make
