William, that picture reminds me of the old mill behind our house. My wife’s great grand father and his son ran the mill. I burnt down about 10 years ago. That was a sad day. We live right on the mill pond and the old cotton gin is still intact. Thanks for showing these beautiful pieces.

It is so much more meaningful and rewarding when we can make something that relates to our lives. I bet you can look at one of them and let your mind take a trip back in history. I think such trips are priceless and make our lives so much richer. Great work, William, in so many ways! !

Great story, we had a grist mill in great neck where I grew up. The walnut stain and details are great.
